This is a club-neutral program open to players from all organizations. The objective is simple: increase comfort on the ball, improve speed of play, and elevate each athlete’s technical ceiling. Futsal remains one of the most powerful tools for developing elite-level players — and the RSMG model emphasizes intelligence, precision, and confidence, the traits that separate good players from great ones.
An identification platform
Our Technical Training also serves as an identification platform — used to evaluate and identify top talent for our Winter Competitive Teams, who compete regionally and nationally.
Meet the Trainers
Coaching with
real pedigree.
Our staff brings together elite playing experience, high-level coaching knowledge, and a deep passion for developing players — including international futsal experience and time competing at the highest levels.
Leads the technical direction of RSMG Futsal and has guided teams to compete at the regional and national level, capturing multiple national championships. Known for his ability to teach and simplify the game, Matt develops intelligent, confident players who solve problems on the court.
Specializes in training and developing players across the tri-state region, including top MLS NEXT athletes. As RSMG’s Talent & Recruiting Director, he builds pathways for players reaching higher levels nationally and internationally while mentoring athletes through high-level futsal development.
A former Division I standout at Monmouth University — four straight conference titles and Defensive Player of the Year. She competed professionally overseas in the UEFA Women’s Champions League before moving into pro futsal, including a 5th-place finish at the 2023 FIFUSA World Cup in Argentina and captaining teams in Brazil’s Copa Mundo do Futsal Feminina.
A former professional with ACR Messina (Lega Pro, 2016–2018) and elite youth product of Cedar Stars Academy, Filippo has trained and trialed with top European clubs including Perugia AC (Serie B) and FC Erzgebirge Aue (Bundesliga 2). With 1,000+ coaching sessions logged and still competing with Real Central in the APSL, he blends technical detail with creative mastery.
A current head coach for multiple Girls Academy teams at a high-level club in North Jersey, Tara brings extensive experience in futsal training, club strategy, and tournament hosting — along with a player-first approach that helps athletes sharpen their technique and grow their confidence on the ball.

Drop-ins are available, but priority is given to players enrolled in the full 5-week package. All sessions are subject to rescheduling in the event of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
Free Training Jersey
Register by Friday, August 14 (5PM) and receive a FREE 2026–27 RSMG club training jersey — the same kit worn on the court.
