About Course
Course Description:
Welcome to RSMG University — your learning hub for understanding the game of futsal at a deeper level. In this course, “Positions in Futsal,” we explore the key roles and responsibilities that make up the foundation of every successful futsal team. You’ll gain insight into the four primary positions on the court:
-
Pivot (Pivo / Target / Striker): The attacking focal point responsible for creating and finishing scoring opportunities.
-
Ala (Winger / Flank): The creative playmaker and connector who transitions between defense and attack along the sidelines.
-
Fixo (Fixed Defender / Anchor): The defensive leader who organizes the back line and initiates play from the rear.
-
Keeper (Goalkeeper / Goalie / Guarda-Redes): The last line of defense and the first point of attack in modern futsal play.
Throughout this course, players will learn how each position functions individually and as part of the team dynamic, with examples of movement, communication, and tactical responsibilities in both offensive and defensive phases.
By the end, you’ll understand not only what each role does — but how to think, move, and play like a true futsal player.
